Naruto spin-off
Chapter 3

Suo was in a tough position and he didn't know were his opponent was. quickly doing a couple hand signs he created a kage bunshin(Shadow clone) and had the two of them run in separate directions. with his clone heading off by itself he was surprised that he was not being attacked. This meant one of two things, either the person who had attacked him fell for his trick and went after the kage bunshin; or it meant that they had also created a kage bunshin and was tracking both of them. Lucky for him, the person who had attacked him wasn't to smart and fell for the kage bunshin trick.

Torren had raided the base of the bowmen that had attacked him. Only taking what he could conceal he quickly headed off into the woods away from the beach. At this point Torren was headed in a diagonal line headed towards both his and Suo's destination. It wasn't long till he had realized that he was being followed. Judging from the sound of footsteps he could hear he calculated there to be exactly three of them after him. As he was about to pass through a clearing a smoke bomb went off and he was grabbed from the behind. his mouth was covered to kept him from making noise as he was sat on the ground with the persons hand still over his mouth.

Almost immediately he recognized the person to be Suo. Apparently he had assessed the situation and figured that the group of three were still unaware of his presence. the three academy students jumped down into the clearing once the smoke was gone. They started to speak as Suo kept Torren quite. however this was proving hard because Torrent had fallen on a red ant hill and was getting bitten alive. it took all Torren had to keep from screaming out in pain. "I see, so the one you were tracking earlier got away?" Suo was listening in on their conversation seeing as how they were oblivious to his presence. "You really are useless Suka...." said the one standing in the middle lowering his head in disgust. " shut up and concentrate on the one were tracking now he can't have gotten far..." the girl in the group stated as she scolded the teammate in the middle.

Torren was seriously being pushed to his limit he wouldn't be able to take much more. " calm down Chiori, we will find him...." was all that Suka could get out before he was interrupted by Torrent Standing up from their hiding location screaming about his Rear being on fire. Torren ran past them in a blur as he tried to get the red ants off of him. Taken by surprise all the three could do was stand there staring. Before they had a chance to even turn around Suo had taken the chance to surprise attack them with Torrens unintentional help. Running in between the three he punched the two that were standing across from each other, Suka and Chiori, the force behind his punches enough to send them flying.  spinning around on his left foot he Kicked the last one in the face with the back of his heel.

Suka and the Other nameless ninja, that suo never cared to listen long enough to get his name, Were knocked out cold with one blow. However the girl was a little more resilient and was still conscious, although she had the feeling of having had the wind knocked out of her. Torren was on the ground in pain a few feet away from the whole seen. he had ran into a tree leaving and indentation of his body on the tree he had run into. Suo ran over and helped him up, taking off they left Chiori behind to fend for herself.

After a few hours of running they had finally crossed the border that separated the forest from the sand desert. By this time it  was about noon and the sun was beating down on them. once they had made it about half way into the desert the both of them fatigued and thirsty came across a oasis. There was a ninja there(academy student) who apparently was planning on waiting it out right there for the duration of the three days. " i see so you found my little hideout; this is where the journey ends for you two." he said to them as he pulled out a scythe to battle them with. Both Suo and Torren were to tired and thirsty to even speak so they decided that they would just have to kick his ass instead.

Suo was not wanting to deal with the man so he wrapped an explosion tag around his kunai. When the Kid attacked them, he threw the Kunai at the ground. Releasing the explosion tag he knocked the third person in the exam today. It seemed to Suo as if he was the one doing all the fighting. However he couldn't complain for he lived to fight. Stopping at the oasis they refilled their canteens and took a good healthy drink of water. Ready to leave they continued into the desert their destination only minutes away.

arriving at what would appear to be nothing they moved the sand to reveal a sand colored tarp. Moving the tarp there was a hole that was just big enough for two small kids to get in. Crawling in Suo and Torren took refuge in their base, a small dug out stocked with enough supplies to last them for two days. They chose this as their base because it would be impossible for someone to find them in the desert. Even if they did manage to be spotted it wouldn't matter by the time that someone had gotten to them they would be too tired and thirsty to do anything, unless they had found the oasis that Suo and Torren had run into(very unlikely).

Two days had passed and Suo's and Torren's supplies were running low. This meant that it was time for them go out and check on the exam and see who was left. Crawling out of their dug out they looked around as the time limit on the exam drew near. Figuring that they should head back they quickly made their way through the desert and back past the oasis as they did so. Once back in the forest they ran across a girl, it was the same girl who Suo had attacked, Chiori. She just happened to be running in the same direction as them when they crossed paths.

Both Torren and Suo pulled out Kunai. Pinning Chiori to the ground with a kunai to her neck Torren asked her a simple question. "How many people are left?" he was of course referring to the exam. Suo placed a hand on Torrens shoulder and he calmed down a little. before Chiori could answer his first question he continued on to say. "Either way it doesn't matter, you will be helping us...." he pasued for a moment before continuing once again. "...or if you don't cooperate we could just knock you out." she looked up at torrent and Suo with distaste but she didn't really have a choice. "Fine!" she replied to Torren. Letting her up the three of them continued their journey through the forest to try and find any survivors....
